Thermo-Fisher Scientific Gallery ‘Beer Master’
We are pleased to announce that we are the first in the UK to purchase a Thermo-Fisher Scientific Gallery “Beer Master”.
This machine will enable us to carry out a range of tests that are both efficient and accurate to enable a fast turnaround of results:
Sulphur Dioxide |
10ppm allergen labeling requirement in small pack |
Liquor Analysis |
Alkalinity, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphate, Chloride, Nitrate and pH |
FAN |
Free Amino Nitrogen in wort |
Beta Glucans |
Detects the quantity of high molecular weight Beta Glucan that affect filterability |
Organic Acids |
For wine and cider consistency |
HPLC
High Pressure Liquid Chromatography is routinely used in all aspects of food and beverage analysis. This analysis is capable of detecting limits as low as Parts per Trillion (ppt)
The following analytes can be tested to meet your Due Diligence. This can satisfy demands from supermarkets with regards to beer sales and also when spent grains are used in the food chain.
- Aflatoxins/Mycotoxins
- NDMA/ATNC
- Pesticide Residues
- Ethanol
- Ethylene
- Methanol
- Glycols
ICP-OES
This method analyses many elements from the periodic table including heavy metal ions that are required by UK and European legislation to be below certain limits.
With this analysis we can provide you with the confidence and reassurance that your processes are complying with all legislation and guidelines.

- Continuity of supply
- Your own unique yeast
- Insurance against mutations
- Ensure ongoing viability
- Ensure consistent fermentation
- Consistent quality
